I LOVED THIS! I can't believe this book didn't even really interest me before now. It was just one of those books that I'd seen around but that I hadn't really wanted to read, but when my book club chose it as a BOM I just went for it. And I'm so happy I did, it was amazing!

I don't have anything against this book but I've read better stories than this, thus three stars.
One thing that I didn't like was whenever there was a Simon Snow fanfic, I know the author put that so that we could understand what Cather and her world looks like. But I guess there was a lot of that in the story. I skimmed some of it because I was really into Levi and Cather's relationship and reading the fanfic or the story of GTL pulled me away from their story.

Oh goodness can Rainbow Rowell do no wrong! This book entered my life after having read Jojo Moyes' "Me Before You" which in all honesty left me reeling, heartbroken and practically catatonic, so I thought the only fathomable antidote guaranteed to bring me back to the land of the living must be "Fangirl". Oh my, I just love this book! Might be one of my favorite contemporaries by far! The whole time I'm just smiling like a goofy little love-struck school girl, especially when Levi enters the picture. This book was okay. I liked the beginning .... 50 pages. Hated the middle. Loved the last hundred or so pages. Good concept, but it seemed stereotypical.
I didn't like this book as much as I would have liked to. The Main character was just annoying to me and I just was confused to how it was written. maybe I will like Eleanor and Park better
