What Members Thought
This book really took a left turn at the end. Our narrator of Flickering Shadows is the grandfather of one of our main characters (Cephus and Boysie) and he dies in the first chapter. He comes back as a spirit to watch the actions of his grandson and his town. This book is also about politics and the influence of outside (The United States is referenced as Away) countries on newly independent countries.
