What Members Thought
For my Read the World series I chose this collection for Belgium. I was a little hesitant to read this because of the depiction of certain cultures within other Tintin books I have read. That was definitely confirmed within the first 2 stories, Tintin in America and Cigars of the Pharaoh, but was relieved to see a turn in The Blue Lotus. These 3 are not the first stories releases, the Soviet and Congo stories were first but we don't talk about those.
