What Members Thought
I chose this book for my read the world series for Benin and I loved it! Each chapter is told from a different character's perspective but all of the characters live or are part of the Lower East Side in the late 1950s. It was interesting to see the characters show up in each other's chapters. There was a wide range of topics and characters coming from different backgrounds.
