This was my second book choice for my Read the World Challenge for Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the true story of 2 sisters, told in their own words, about the Bosnian war in the 90s. One sister (Atka) is the war zone with most of her family while the other (Hana) who is only 12 years old becomes a refugee with another sister in the neighboring Croatia.
