What Members Thought
I chose this book as part of my read the world series for Brunei. I was really excited to read about Teha'amana and Tahiti and Ponnambalam is a good writer. The structure of the book is what I had the most difficulty with. It has multiple points of views, and each part is only a couple of paragraphs or pages long. The POVs include Teha'mana, Paul Gauguin, his daughter and his legal wife as well as looking at Tahiti mythology. It took me a while to figure out who was telling the story and where i
