Sometimes I think you're either fan of McEwans work or you don't like it at all. I belong to the first category. The way he chooses his words, the subtle painting of how people act and react, the way a story slowly unfolds... Or should I say stories? Lots of food for thought in the book and a sad feeling when closing it. But what an enjoyable read it was.
