Well this book left me frustrated and underwhelmed! While the book promised an exploration of complex relationships, it fell short in its execution. The characters lacked depth, often leading to clichés and very predictable actions that failed to engage me emotionally. Hoover's writing style, though accessible (its a quick read), struggled to capture the complexity of theme.
