Shen: This book made me cry LOL. If you love stories about found family and the importance of food and community, this is perfect for you. There are some truly heartwarming moments but also some devastating but very realistic parts where my heart went out to this girl. The book is told through letters but it never felt forced and I think O'Shaughnessy captured a young kid's voice really well and with amazing brevity.
