ceò: This is a phenomenal read for anyone who enjoyed Dracula, the Da Vinci code, or with an interest in European history. The book is impressively well-researched, with very few inaccuracies to facilitate what is essentially a fantasy story.
Be transported to Vienna, Istanbul, Sofia, Paris, etc through the generations with our cast of characters while they try to solve the mystery of Dracula (Vlad the Impalor)'s existence.
Despite being seeped in history, the story itself is very gripping and frequently emotional. I was nearly moved to tears at one point! I don't often rate a book 5 stars, but this one more than earns it.
