So I read this back in 2013 and liked it because, you know, aliens. Cassie was sarcastic and sassy, and I liked her very much. Yet, the rest of the characters felt so.... predictable? You could find them in any other dystopian series, which doesn't excite me at all because I'm honestly tired of this genre. I don't feel like reading the sequel so I'm just gonna pass. This book was still good the second time around. Liked the characters. Wonder what would happen if aliens did try to take over Earth. Cassie was good as a character.

Still haven't seen the movie yet.

Can't wait to read the Infinite Sea!!!! ...more

Even though I've seen the movie, this book was still amazing. Can't wait to read the second one. One thing I didn't enjoy that much though was, at the start, the way it wasn't in order. I like the way the movie did it. And for once, I think the movie was actually done well in comparison to the book, but I may have thought differently if I'd read the book first. Glad I finally read this book :) And I also like how (view spoiler) ...more

One of the best books I've ever read. If the world ends like this, let me just die right now. Oh my God. What a book. The waves are so evil and so geniously thought. The writer is brilliant!
