Even though I haven't heard much about this series before, I should have known that it would be excellent because I haven't yet been disappointed with a Julia Quinn romance. We meet Miranda when she's a young girl, meeting Turner for the first time--and she writes in her diary that she's fallen in love. The rest of the book describes them as they grow up, get to know each other better, then build a life together. There's wonderful repartee between them ...more
