Jill Shalvis not only writes romance and humor well she can also write a good sex scene :) not the hottest Ive ever read but it totally goes with the rest of the book and it's not a fade to black scene or a mechanical scene :D

Not one bit, Maddie.” I love how Jax won't let Maddie hide. He knows what she's thinking and he says it - makes her confront it so she can beat it <3"

I loved it start to finish and am soo happy that this is only the first in a series and I have like 9 books already out to read! :) i just love lucky harbor and I definitely have a new favourite author on my list - she may end up at the top with KA if the rest of her books are anything like this one! :) <3 I loved Jax and Maddie they were. Just perfect for each other! The side characters were awesome too - that's what makes a great book for me two amazing main characters, awesome side characters, a beautiful/intriguing setting and great writing! I could talk about how much I loved this book for hours - I couldn't even put it down to update my statuses more regularly! I've had to do it in 2 massive lots instead of 4 or 5 smaller ones haha :) everyone has to give this book a shot! It wasn't drama filled but a nice read that just captured you from the beginning! Wow - I really have gone on about this book haha :) <3 ...more

Loved this book. First book in a series that I will definitely be reading on. Maddie has been hurt by an ex and comes to Lucky Harbor to meet up with her estranged sisters. She meets Jax who has a few secrets of his own. I love their chemistry. Great small town sexy romance.

This was my first book by Jill Shalvis and if this one is any indication of her writing, I am hooked.

This is a very light romance read where three estranged sisters find themselves the proud owner of a dilapidated inn in Lucky Harbor. I still thought this was cute. I was nice to visit Lucky Harbor from the beginning. I still was more drawn to Jax's character than I was to Maddy's, but I really like the town and am looking forward to going back through the series again. ...more

Very cute story. I really liked Jax. I was more of a fan of him than Maddie. But, I could empathize with her past so I tried not to be too hard on her. I really liked the other two sisters as well, so I can't wait to continue this series. ...more
