I must admit that I didn't really care for Keri for much of the book. As a journalist for a gossip magazine, she seemed superficial and almost cold, especially to Joe. Joseph knows that Keri needs something from him, but she broke his heart nearly twenty years ago, so he's not letting her off that easily. He proposes a deal for her. Go with him on his family vacation, and he'll give her the interview. Feeling she has no choice, Keri goes on the trip, but she doesn't expect the chemistry between her and Joe to still be there. Can she have a fling with him for two weeks and then walk away again? Or can there be future for Joe and Keri after all?

This story was great. It had a little bit of everything: humor, romance, turmoil, familial problems, some steamy interludes in the great outdoors, and a great story to tie it all together. I thought that Keri and Joe were perfect for each other, even when they were trying to keep their hands off each other. The chemistry was sizzling, but their banter was even better.

The Kowalski family was hilarious. All of them had very distinct personalities and brought a lot to the story. The close family unit was obvious throughout the book, even when they were fighting. I don't think the book would have been nearly as good if they hadn't been in there.

I thought the plot and story line was excellent. Finding out why Keri had left Joe all those years ago was paramount for me at the beginning of the book, but I found that towards the end I was rooting so hard for their future, I didn't care as much about their past.

Ultimately, it ended with a very sweet HEA that was befitting for the two lovers. I felt that they had come full circle and were finally mature enough to love each other the way they were supposed to.

EXCLUSIVELY YOURS is the first in the Kowalski Family series, and I can't wait to read more about this family. I really enjoyed the first book, and I am looking forward to what's yet to come. ...more
