The first book of Hiaasen's that strays slightly from his formula but it's not as good or as funny. I really didn't like most of the characters. The most likeable was a morale bankrupt bodyguard as he was the only one who did any growth throughout the book. I listened to it on tape and the reader was okay. I hated him reading a different book because he always sounds a little irritated and bored but it worked for this book. If you're a Hiaasen fan you'll probably like this book. If not, don't st
