Shelves: first-in-series, romance, food-and-drink, fruit-on-cover, food-on-cover, net-galley-done

This was a pleasant romance, set in a small-town pie shop. The difficulties in the romance are believable right from the start since the two main characters are married but are moving towards divorce. The reason is because Quint is a workaholic, causing the initial rift between he and Callee. But when Quint's father dies, he isolates himself, going away for several weeks, leaving his wife to cope with the aftermath. Wow! No wonder she's upset. But on the other hand, Callee doesn't seem to fight ...more
