I may be partial but The Rising series is heads over heels a better read. Frey is kind of annoying. Finnie was amazing.

I was surprised at how much I liked this story. I had stayed away form Kristen Ashley for a long time because the few stories I read had a lot of racial stereotypes that pissed me the hell off. I didn't find them funny in the least and it was obvious that the author was trying to be funny with them.
