Amazing! Breathtaking visuals, heart stopping action, heartbreaking story. This novel has pretty much everything. I was enthralled with every word. This has to be one of the best sci-fi novels I've read in a long time. Still have so many questions unanswered but salivating for the next installment. While in the supermarket last week, I stopped at the book section. After quickly scanning several titles and authors, my eye stopped at The Fifth Wave. The back cover blurb was, “Eh? Okay. Not stellar, but maybe…” Truthfully, I bought it because I liked the cover art. Later that evening I sat down and opened the book, hoping that perhaps I hadn’t wasted $7.50.

This is one of those books that you wonder if. It takes a while to get into it, so you wonder if it is worth it. It reminds you of other books you have read, so you wonder if they stole the idea. It gets gripping, you wonder if? Your just wonder if. Some call it dystopian, others invasion fiction.
