It seemed like the author wanted to explore major themes (time travel, Autism, self-discovery/love) and tried to make them work in one book. Mixed in among that are Greek Mythology references, room mate/workplace drama, and trying to repair a familial relationship after death of parents. It seemed there were abrupt turns to the protagonist's traits (intentional?) and it jarred me out of the story. This might have been because I Audiobook is fantastically performed! I am not sure I would have finished the book without the narration TBH. I thought the colors = feelings exploration of her neurodivergence was interesting. Sophie and Barry cracked me up, but what was the point of giving Cassandra a job in public relations as opposed to another career? Overall, this was a good "know thyself" reminder but a bit crowded and jumbled for me....more
