i mainly picked this book up for fun because it was referenced in tove lo’s “suburbia.” the main thing i’m left with upon finishing though is how relevant it still feels, over fifty years later. yikes.

i also found that the stepford wives is a great case for examining how people of one marginalization tend to exclude/ignore/forget people with other marginalizations and interesting identities.
