So... once you get over him being a minotaur and the whole milking farm shock value, the relationship between Rourke and Violet was actually quite cozy and sweet!?

I cannot fathom the clean up after a night with a Minotaur. It must be like a waterfall. 24oz, oh my.

This book is cozy and sweet while still being spicy. The characters are lovable and the storyline is engaging. I finished it fairy quickly because I was enamoured with it.
I listened Audible, the narrator was fantastic

Booktok made me do it 🤷🏻‍♀️ As someone not into monster romance, I hate that I didn’t hate this. Was it the very relatable down on her luck millennial with crushing debt who chooses to engage in sex work to pay her bills but we’re pretending like it wasn’t sex work? Or the mild mannered, restrained MMC? The perfect utopia that is Cambric Creek? I don’t know, but this was a delightful listen and idk but since the second one is also free on Audible I’ll probably give it a listen too.

Cute spicy monster romance. Worth the read if you like this genre. It’s a good story without being dragged out longer than necessary. And the spicy scenes are delicious. I also really like how she made a follow up sequel (a blue ribbon romance) that tells this story from the boys point of view. The only thing I didn’t like (aside from the grammatical errors) is the HORRIBLE new picture on the cover.
