Okay. I had to come back to write a review. Now I usually don't write reviews on smut-based books but oh my goodness. This was the best monster smut I have read... ever? It had so many amazing RH tropes, the storyline was perfect, all the men were yummy af, and it had actual good plot to go with it!

The way I am pitching this book to all of my friends right now. If you like RH, monster smut, or even smut at all definetely read this book you won't regret it. Thank me later :) ...more

3.5 stars - I grossly underestimated how much I would like this story. 😭

I opened this book out of morbid curiosity, and at first, it was what I’d expected - spice with a variety of monster men. About 25% of the way through, I didn’t have much to go on for the plot, wasn’t overly drawn in by the writing style, and was still apprehensive about the story because it essentially takes place in a brothel. This book is spicy. Heroine Esther is a former maid who’s out of work when she is invited to become lady of Rooksgrave Manor, a charnel house that caters to rich monsters. She is so horny her appetite can only be sated by her 6 monster cinnamon roll boyfriends who range from a sphinx (who has a hooked appendage) to vampire, to invisible man, a Jekyl and Hyde who is both a sweet doctor and a large monster and a marble golem who is hard as stone on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside.
