I saw quite a few people chatting about this book on twitter and how good it was. It made me curious, checked with my library and sure enough they had the audio, so off I was to listen. I liked this one, but I didn't think it was all that everyone was chatting about. There was a lot that was familiar with other stories. I grew to love Bouchet’s writing style after reading her Kingmaker series so I was really excited to see she had a new series.

This one takes place in space and what I think of as the future (but that’s not explicitly said) and follows Tess and her motley crew of rebel criminals. They are fighting against the overseer, a tyrant in control of all of space.

I was in the mood for a Space Opera and this one is in Kindle Unlimited, so I snatched it up! Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I have it already, courtesy of Netgalley.
