DNF at 25%. This was definitely a case of, "it's not you, it's me." This felt a little too much like required reading in high school. I'm sorry, book club, I just can't do it.
The writing is beautiful, but the plot is sort of meandering. Also, the audiobook performance is wonderful. It's just...not the kind of book I like to read. Give me scifi/fantasy for days but please don't make me read a classic. ...more
