What Members Thought
Captivating and interesting story that’s well written. I enjoyed the story enough that I’ll continue the series and have become a fan of Kuang’s writing. However, it lacks the character development necessary to feel deeply for the characters — and many of them lack any redeeming qualities.
I love how R.F. Kuang writes but her characters in this series I don’t really adore.
