4.5 ⭐️ I love a good rich family drama and this book delivered. Just wanted a bit more from the ending!
Excellent reading about the Storm siblings was a summer great and Jack was a treat.
3.5⭐️I feel like giving it more stars, yet it is the old rich people doing bad things.
It took me a while to get into the story. I may not have been in the right mood. The romance was the star of the show for me. The ending seemed a bit forced. Most of the family were giving Alice the cold shoulder most of the book and then they get all warm & fuzzy at the end. But I do love a happy ending!
This didn’t hold my interest like I wanted it to except for towards the end when all of the secrets started coming out. I liked how there was a romance woven into the story but wasn’t enamored by it. The ending wasn’t as satisfying as I hoped it would be and wished there would have been an epilogue to go into it more.
I feel like I should have loved this book, but I just didn’t. The characters and plot didn’t hold my interest and the love story didn’t really do it for me. It felt a bit redundant and toxic.

Her sentences felt like run on internal thoughts sometimes that I literally had to go back and read them multiple times to make sure I got it all.

The ending was also like okay that’s it? No more explanation and suddenly everyone that has been fighting is just like ha figures.. needed some kind of epilogue to flesh everything out.

It was fine. A few points that made me very interested in what was going to happen. But nothing too wild crazy new out of the box. Enjoyable enough.
