I knew before I started reading that this book would punch me in the face (the author is John Green, after all). And I cried, and laughed, as expected. I couldn't put it down. I love John's writing - the plot, the characterization, the quips and the deep thoughts.

John Green does it again. A YA book that is brilliant. Not to say YA can't be brilliant but this book, like his others, does not shy away from the difficult, awkward, or ponderous subjects that some often feel are too much for teenagers. To people like that I say they need to spend time with books like this or his others. Life is complicated for all no matter their age. I liked these characters, and the setting as well as the writing style.

This book was good. I liked the characters, and the story was true in the most fabulous and painful way. This isn't a book that is always fun and it certainly isn't always easy, but it was real.
