4.5! i’ll just start off- i love arron warner. i’m very excited to keep reading the series. i’ve seen many people say they dislike mafi’s writing style, i personally really liked it (and could’ve finished it a lot sooner if i hadn’t had to annotate every page), i thought it was really pretty. i do wish there was more world building and description in that area because it was somewhat difficult to picture the world, but that’s really the only reason it’s not 5 stars. i just need adam to go away s

This was the first fantasy book I read in summer 2023 and just for the emotional attachment I can’t give it any less than 5⭐️even if the writing isn’t as good because to me(in the moment) it was amazing. I was really invested with the plot and the constant twists. I actually loved Arron since the beginning and will forever remember this book 💕😩
⭐️2.5 I was quite excited to read this book but just couldn’t get into it like I wanted too. Possibly deciding to read this whilst reading ACOTAR for the first time wasn’t the smartest idea as I was too hooked on that series. Do I give shatter me another chance ??
