Finally finished, and OMG I am loving this series. Now it’s on to the 3rd book (A Court of Wings and Ruin). By the way, a big FU to Tamlin lol.
2020 reread notes: I don't care what anyone says; this book will always be one of my favorites. I know that there are some problems in the series. For example: SJM tends to reuse the same words over and over again (cunning, vulgar gesture, hissing, barking, etc). (view spoiler) But I can't help myself. I fucking love this book.

What can I say about Shadow Daddy Rhys that hasn’t already been said about the Mona Lisa, chocolate, or, I don’t know, the invention of the wheel? The man is iconic. But let's be real—this book? Absolute chef’s kiss. If you’re looking for the next “Jane Eyre” or “Pride and Prejudice,” I’ve got news for you: this ain’t it. And that’s totally fine, because guess what? I am the intended audience, and let me tell you—I loved every minute of it.

What fantastic story. SJM has managed to paint a beautiful mural of pain, loss, love, bond, and sacrifice. Rhys and Feyre’s story is so beautifully written. It’s a story that transcends worlds and paints a mural so lovely in your mind- you can just see the colors, the worlds, the wings, and the starlight.
A good 2nd book in a series. This is a fantasy romance with hints of a Twilight plot, but that’s ok, I loved Twilight. It’s much more mature but the themes are similar.
I am Wrecked!!!! WRECKED!!!!!! I don’t know how people find the words to write a well thought out and detailed review. I cannot. HOLY SHIT. ugh. It was everything. And it destroyed me lol
