Re-read January 2024 in preparation for CC3: still 5 stars.
Re-reading this was such an absolute treat. I was a little worried it wouldn’t live up to how much I loved it the first time. So here’s the thing… I read A Court of Thorns and Roses and I was amazed with how good the book was, though it wasn’t my typical genre.

Ahhh I was worried the 2nd would be just a continuation to appease the reader but wow. Loved it even more than the first and immediately ran to the 3rd in the series. I’ll be sad when I’m done reading this series.
As always Sarah J. Maas never disappoints! The ending had plot twists and turns; one after the other up until the very last page! I can't wait to read the next book!

This book had me absolutely enthralled from beginning to end I could not put it down and I have to restrain myself from binging the rest of the series immediately.
Safe to say I have a few new favorite characters <3 Rhysand, you have my heart forever <3. I don't want to spoil anything, but the thing I can say is: THIS WAS SUCH A FUN READ. I LOOOOVED everything (except someone (IYKYK)) The writing is so easy to follow and the world building is out of this league. Can't wait to start ACOWAR :))

This entire series is great, but especially this book! I binged all 5 books in little less than two weeks and promptly started re-reading them. I'm all about that slow-burn romance and Chapter 54 absolutely melted my heart.

An improvement on the first one by leaps and bounds. The new characters are really likeable. As much as it pains me to say, I kind of liked it.
