I loved this, then I didn’t. It was reminding me a lot of Summers at Castle Auburn – which is always the right thing to be compared to in my mind. And then LaFevers tried to go for more political intrigue and I was like “no, I’m sorry, people are being too dumb. Go back to the romance!” Then Ismae used sex to cure poison in Duval and I was like, “okay, I don’t know what to do with you. Just end this.” I think it still evens out to four stars, though.
