Um the amount of times I wanted to dnf this book throughout should say it all. It was mediocre, I feel like it had the potential to be great but for me it fell flat. The ending was surprising for me

On the surface there are some very pretty quotes like the one above but the problem is this type of writing isn't just scattered across the book, it's literally all the time. I love big length fantasy books but what I love more is when those books are somehow still di
