The book was ok all the way around, what I really liked about it was the taking of an old story that scared the daylights out of me as a child and reworking it into a story that was still quite creepy. I think I would have been happier if the shop owner had been mirrored more closely to the witch in the Hansel and Gretel stories of my youth rather than being a victim of sorts.

The cover looks so Amazing like in "Sisters Red" && The book was just as great as the first one. I would LOVE for Jackson Pearce to make a 3rd one to continue the adventure. I COULD NOT put that book down unless I had too haha
