as with all this authors books, she does an excellent job at emotionally driven, abused, characters! I like how at the end of this she points out the true events that inspired this story. I do not know of the case she refers to but it is fascinating that she took a good spin on it .can't wait for her next book.

Ah, Clare Mackintosh... What can I say? She does know how to write a thriller!
I had doubts about this one when I started reading it, though. I wasn’t too sure about Anna Johnson and her grief. But as we know more about the story and the characters’ background, everything becomes more exciting.
The ending was definitely worth it.
