This is a unique book. It’s strange and a bit confusing yet intriguing. I will have to read it again to fully get it.
It’s from the POV of Snuff, a dog whose master is involved in “the Game.” The book is full of dialogue, mostly between Snuff and other familiars (Graymalk the cat, Needles the bat, Quiklime the snake, etc.) as they trade information.
