I was sooooo excited to start reading this book, so when I downloaded it, I just could not resist the temptation.
I HAD TO READ IT, IT WAS CALLING ME...
So, the cover is beautiful and just absolutely and freakishly perfect for the book, like A+ for whoever designed Rainbow Rowells book covers cause they utterly stunning!
Who introduced me to this author and book was, I think, Christine - a freaking fabulous booktuber - that got my attention on this book...and I'm so thankful she did!

This, is my face throughout the book:

Daaaaaym, all this hype about the book, and this is...my brain...I feel so betrayed! *sigh*
I've read 3 Rainbow Rowell books now, and I have finally decided I just cant love these books, no matter how hard I try.

Oh. My. Goodness. Every wonderful review I have heard about this book was spot on! Rowell's writing drew me in from the start. I loved every second of this book. Setting the book around Y2k also brought a lot of fun pop culture into the story. The characters were well developed and their personalities were great. I mean, the main character is a brainy, D&D playing guy built like a football star so what's not to like there?

3.75
I picked this up at 7pm and finished it at 11:48pm.
Normally I don't give up my sleep for just anything. Even though I'm only giving a 3.75 rating I really enjoyed this book, hence the one sit read through. I needed something lighthearted, cute, romantic, easy to read- didn't have to double think a sentence - and this book was cute-ta-boot ...more
