Abby does it once again! She is one of my favorite authors, so I had to get this new book of hers! This one is more emotional than the other books that I have read from her. It got me in my feelings big time! Oh and the male main character Xavier is the sweetest, most loving guy ever! He is also a huge animal lover, which is a bonus!

I love this book!!!! It pulls at your heartstrings and feels like a warm hug when Abby Jimenez writes something.. don't get me wrong, the trigger warnings are no joke... but i absolutely love and adore these characters 💖

I loved that these two have every desire under the moon to be together and have countless obstacles... He's also the perfect book boyfriend 😍 💕

I absolutely loved this story. What's not to love about a tall, good looking veterinarian willing to do anything to make the people around him happy!!! While he is a little too perfect for the real world, sometimes you need a perfect book boyfriend to renew your faith in humanity, and Xavier certainly fits the bill. Samantha is also a loveable and relatable character. She's funny, and smart, and a genuinely good person. I related to both Samantha and Xavier for very different reasons. (view spoi ...more

I have mixed feelings about this book... I wanted to love it, but parts of it fell flat for me. I love Xavier and Sam together, but there was so much more angst in their individual lives than I was expecting (lesson learned: don't judge a book by its cover and don't go into a book with expectations haha).
How they ultimately came together felt extremely unrealistic and extremely convenient which left a negative aftertaste in my mouth :( I still liked the book but unfortunately not one of m

Honestly I'm 4 minutes into this audiobook and can't bring myself to listen knowing this book is just gonna pmo. I scrolled through reddit and saw that this book is littered with pop culture violations. I couldn't careless about it after seeing that.

If you have so many pop culture references in your book it's clearly just lazy writing and a cash grab by mentioning Taylor Swift.

Another Abby Jimenez book that made me cry, are we even surprised at this point?
This book was just so cute, the way they met was quite interesting, but I just loved them together! This lived up to the anticipation that I had for the book.
