hear me out—this book was amazing. i loved the small town concept, the complex family dynamics that added depth to the story, and the fact that this one’s a book with books in it. romance books with books in it and an incredibly hot man are the BEST.

i wish i would’ve read this one in summer, but it was still amazing because of the way it was written: very detailed and with such a masterful vocabulary. this book was smart—smart smart, if that makes sense. it didn’t feel like a lighthearted ...more

I don’t know what I was expecting as this was my first book of Emily Henry but I really enjoyed this book. I wasn’t a massive fan of Libby’s character but overall I really enjoyed the plot and Charlie and Nora. Looking forward to reading more of Emily Henry’s novels.

This was very cute. I think I said this about Henry’s other book but the banter is so, so, so good!! It’s honestly my favourite part of this book. It’s smart alecy, with sharp wit yet very sweet at the same time. Good backdrop and a fun overall premise. I enjoyed this!
