This series was honestly such fun read, it takes me back when I read caravel solving mysteries, riddles who the murder is! I love books like these a lot! The third book was really good better than the second. There was so many good things happening that you didn’t want to miss was hard to put down.

I have to say I’m a little disappointed in this and my least favourite novel of the series. I loved the Hawthorne legacy so much so I had high hopes for this one. It just didn’t grab me like the other ones. I enjoyed the riddles and “treasures” that make the inheritance games what it is, but a lot of the characters lost me. There was A LOT going on and it just felt jumbled to me at times. I loved the ending as predictable as it was, but was still great. Hopefully there is a spin off of this seri

I love this trilogy, the mystery, the Hawthorne brothers, and of course queen Avery herself but Grayson deserved so much better. I’m torn for him.
