I love all the stories about the clothes and Marsha's life! There were so many wonderful designers Marsha got to work with. I am glad she lists most of them. Her movies are also listed. The hats, shoes and accessories are all so wonderful. Today many fashion experts say not to match everything but the pictures speak for themselves. Classic, tasteful, glamorous and still sexy. We need more of this these days! Marsha even had a hand in designing many of the outfits. So talented! ...more

Marsha Hunt was an actress during the late 1930s and 1940s, and although I had seen her in many films over the years, I never truly took notice until I read this book. It is a lot of fun to read as well as look at.

Hunt describes her love affair with clothes and all of the wonderful designers she worked with at various studios. Most of the photos are from her personal collection, which makes them unique, and her affiliation with studios such as MGM means they're top quality stills. Hunt refused
