YES, YES THIS WAS FABULOUS.
I'd seen this online a lot of times, seen it in stores but never thought of reading it. When I looked it up last year and came to know it was a middle-grade book, I was like nah.
But then, this summer I ended up having nothing to read, so I thought, why not?
AND THAT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER.

I really enjoyed this book, it was very exciting and definitely kept you at the edge of your seat! The characters are well defined as well as the scenery that surrounds them. The book starts out with Thomas coming up a shaft known as "The Box" into a place known as the Glade. He doesn't know anything about his past, except his name. When he brought up he is met by a bunch of teenage kids, ranging from 12-18, all boys. They use odd terminology that make no sense to him. Some are rude and glare at
