What Members Thought
I call fiction that has no reliance on a crime, a “pure mystery”. There was only a little paranormal flavour but I was elated to find exactly the kind of mystery I cherish! Most series have an exciting background premise that is supposed to drive each story but which is seldom utilized; like Molly MacRae’s. We’re eager to know her Grandma’s witch origins and that of a ghost’s. Molly solely hints at them. Instead, like every other mass-produced mystery: she fills her pages with crime escapades. I
