This storybook was only .25c and I knew it would be precious. It is by Ann Tompert in 1965, written in roman numerals as old books were. At the rear, the “Tell-A-Tale Books” layout was instantly familiar and now that I look at it, so is the size of these rectangular hardcovers. I had books exactly like these as a child!
