The title “Prairie Ghosts” was of immediate intrigue to me, before I zoned in on its subtitle: “True Manitoba Ghost Stories”! There would be no home-sticking to popular Alberta cities or spots in Saskatchewan I know nothing about, even if they are closer. This is entirely Manitoban! I wish I had known this book in 1988, my school days, because Lois Forsberg is a phenomenal interviewer and raconteur and you feel excited to speak with her after reading many of these.
