What Members Thought

This is a novel readers will appreciate differently, depending on keenness for plot, action, and the pleasure of something new. My spouse chose “In A Dark, Dark Wood”, 2015, for me because it looks eerie. Darn, it has nothing to do with the woods or paranormal. Leonora's most passionate trait was for an old romance! IN A DARK, DARK WOOD is my second book by Ruth Ware. It's a good book, enjoy it but have to say that I liked THE WOMAN IN CABIN 10 more.
Leonora (Nora / old Lee) is a crime writer that invited to a Hen party of an old friend. She clings to the past, yet we do not know her past until the end of the story.
Mystery and Suspense, well written, started strong, although I'm not sure about the horror and woods.

Every wee once in awhile, the main character would frustrate me a bit, but that's a small side gripe as I liked her overall, she's just not that efficient with "speaking" especially with the police. Ack. Still - trauma
