I love it when a new BDB comes out! Of course, I put everything down and just devoured this latest novel in the series.
This is one of the best so far. Several different storylines progress as well as a wonderful flashback storyline. Beth and Wrath from Dark Lover are the central characters, except with the additional angst of potential parenthood.

OMG I love these books! Even the not great ones are great.
I won't post too much so I don't spoil anything but man... I want to read it all over again.
I can't wait to hear more about the Shadows. And the twins!
So glad Lassiter made it into this one. I'm looking forward to his story. It sounds like part of it might be in the next FA book.

Brotherhood. It came across as a filler between Lover at Last and the upcoming book about the Shadows. I didn't enjoy the near implosion between Wrath and Beth, nor did I think any of the other characters stood out. There were so many different plots going on it was hard to keep track. Xcor and his Band of Bastards and Layla, if she goes with him, as she promised, what happens to Qhuinn and her baby? Who is Assail and why is he so important that he has been put into a few books?
