A 99-cent sale and curiosity got hold of me and I one-clicked. Didn't work for me in the first three books; I don't know why I thought it would be any different this time. But perhaps I thought Mr. Grey might lend some additional fresh material to the stack. Nope! Just cut & paste - cut & paste - and then more cut & paste. Nothing new, but this time around, instead of Ana's inner goddess meanderings, it was Christian's teenage-like ramblings that caused nausea.

OMG. Why on earth did I pre-order this P.O.S.? I didn't think it was possible for the series to get even worse. I can't read anymore. *actually removes book from my Kindle to avoid the temptation to give it one more try*

I fell asleep 3 times...smh

Absolutely loved Christian's POV as we get a glimpse into his mind and emotions. I have to say I enjoyed this more than the other books, more than Ana's POV, for various reasons. Despite this being re-telling I never once felt bored as it was all from a different POV and it showed Christian in a very different light. I can't help but think that if people who hate The Fifty Shades trilogy read this would they have the same opinion of Christian? He comes across as someone very different from how h

I couldn't not read it. Nice to revisit but I am not a great fan of retellings.

I have to put this aside for now. I can not get into it at all. There are too many things going on in RL, and too many other books that I am interested in.

This is a retelling of the first book of the Fifty Shades of Grey Series told from Christian’s point of view. If you are a fan of the series, as I admittedly am, I suppose this one is also a must read. It's not bad. I did enjoy reading it. I gave it only 3 stars because I felt it was a little unnecessary outside of it the money making gimmick that goes along with this trend of rewriting the same book from an alternative point of view. In the case of "Grey", there is really nothing in this book t

Yeah I read this. Sorry, not sorry. It was interesting and fun and silly and poorly written, and I don't care even a little bit. There were some things that seemed new and different as seen from Christian's perspective. And some page I just completely skipped. Easy, low stakes reading. It's terrible, but it's amazing at the same time.

Loved this series. Was so happy to find out that there was a new book coming out from Christian's POV. This was awesome! It was great to see what he was actually feeling and more of what happened when he was a child and during the time she was gone. I just wished that the next book was out so that I could go right into listening it. I hope that we do not have to wait too long for the next book as the plot is already known.
