3.5 RATING- I have mixed feelings on this. I'm a fan of the series and had big expectations for Matt but ended up feeling a bit disappointed. The writing was solid, I enjoyed the banter between the supporting casts of characters, but the romance was just....plain ole' vanilla. Sure Matt gets a bit bossy and he likes to use his rope but I feel like this was BDSM-ultra lite. I was hoping for something a bit more edgy and sexy. I am so in love with the Seattle series damn I just want more this time we read about matt and Nic and there is no disappointment. Hot sexy naughty and wicked I will not give it away just go read sizzle and yum

This series is my favorite of ALL TIME but this book didn't really hit the mark for me. I'm going 3.5 stars. There was story line there to explore Nic's family and it didn't. I really like Matt and Nic as a couple but I think it could have been more deeply developed. It felt a little too rushed for me and the epilogue didn't really give me any closure. Do I recommend you to read it? Yes, it still pulls in a little more to the other characters story but just falls a tad short. ...more
