Nothing like what I was expecting - but in the best ways possible. A wonderfully enthralling tale of cruelty, hate, revenge and a life-long love the endures through it all.

A new-to-me-author whose writing struck a chord. I loved being so surprised as I read through the pages. And the further I became engrossed in the story, the more I appreciated the talents that shone brightly. The Paper Swan was thoroughly captivating and intriguing.

Marvelous characters, both main and secondary, that will di

I absolutely love this dark and beautiful story! I read this in 2015 when it first came out but needed to reread now to get ready for The Night Blossoms.

“My love for Damian certainly felt big enough and wide enough, and yet it lay crammed into the few inches that separated us, wrestling with his need for retribution.
Lovengeance.”

This book has dark, mysterious and suspenseful elements but the soulful prose and emotional story have stayed with me even years later.

At first I didn't think I was going to like this and then the end of Skye (part one) happened. I literally couldn't stop turning pages! I loved the relationship between Skye and Damian. I loved the twists and turns of the story. I loved it all. It's definitely going into my favorite books list.

I need to write this review, because I need to express how absolutely, incredibly, amazing of a story this is. That being said, I'm going to purposely be as vague as humanly possible in my review. Why you ask? Well, this is definitely one of those stories that need to unfold. You need to be an active participant. You need to experience everything you can with the characters. And you are most definitely thrown immediately into the fray. Literally 1% in you begin aski

The story starts with Skye, a spoiled, rich girl who finds herself kidnapped. She is terrified, and sure this strange man plans to kill her. Turns out that was his original plan but things change. The story is more than a kidnapping leading to love. It's a story full of revenge, love, hate, misunderstanding, and a past that connects it all.

This story leans towards the darker side, has a little bit of suspense, a lot of action and two men. It's a fast paced read that keeps you wondering if the l

The Paper Swan is one of the most unique books I’ve ever read. Based on the synopsis, I went into thinking I was getting one thing, but was completely shocked with what this book was actually about. From the first paragraph of the first chapter, I was completely pulled into this story.

There is just so much I want to say about this book, but it’s going to be hard without giving anything away. This is just one of those books that it’s better to go into blind. The fact that you don’t know what to e
