Yay for dual pov's!! This was sweet and sad at the beginning... but turned out beautiful. Lev was a bit different but very interesting to read about. Loved how Mina changed him for the better. I was quite connected to both characters so when Lev actually laughed, I almost teared up LOL!
I am interested in the supporting characters as well. Hope most of them get a story at some point.

A very different sort of love story.
This was my first book by Belle Aurora, but will certainly not be my last.
This is a different sort of love story with a very strong heroine and a hero who is flawed, not perfect.
Circumstances have left Mina homeless, starving and desperate. She needs to do something, anything to stay alive.
Lev doesn't understand emotion. He doesn't handle it well and it usually comes out in anger and aggression.

This book started out like Lev and the gang were going to be super badass, and they were to a certain extinct. The thing is, once Mina came into the picture it was like a switch was flipped and the badassness just slowly trickled out.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the growth of the relationship between Mina and Lev, and am hoping to get a taste of what's to come for the others, but everything after Mina was in their lives seemed a little to good to be true. ...more

Reread and reconsidered

I initially gave this book 4 stars when I first read this year's ago & upon rereading the book in preparation for Vik, I've realised I must have been on something.

This was a good read. Definitely worth 5 stars. Good plot, writing and MC's were likable. All 3 are tough to achieve in my opinion so this deserves to be reviewed and changed. ...more
